Guitar
lessons
can be taken in electric or acoustic. Students will explore
open guitar chords, rudimentary strumming and finger-style
techniques, open tunings, bottle-neck slide. Also more
advanced jazz harmony and improvisational strategies can be
covered in lessons. Based on their preference students can
choose lesson repertoire from a variety of folk, blues,
jazz, pop, and rock selections. Sight-reading and guitar
theory can be studied through a selection of classical
pieces and other sources.
